Email Kim Lee
Kim joined the GBC staff in February 2011. She attended Bridgewater College and obtained a Bachelorâ€™s of Arts degree in Psychology. She completed her Masterâ€™s Degree in Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Kim holds Certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor, and much of her clinical work has focused on children and families, and adolescent substance abuse. Kim also holds a license to teach preK-6th grade.
Her ministry experience has focused on kids and she co-developed and implemented a Kidâ€™s Worship Program in Roanoke at the church she was raised in. She has been actively involved in kidâ€™s ministry at Gayton since 2008 through Wednesday night programs and kidâ€™s music productions.
Kim enjoys spending time with her husband, Aaron, and their two daughters.Â She also loves going for walks, reading blogs, a good chat at Starbucks, sharing life with her LifeGROUP, and watching Hokie football.
